Name my blog!

[Edit: 11 hours ago I posted this.. and only one person suggested something.. this must mean my blog really does suck! soooooooo I'm having a contest. The person who suggests the best name for my blog-- will get a really nice comment on their page!! I know, I know its a sucky reward... What did you expect?? There is nothing better than the pleasure of someone's company... or nice words from them! hey, maybe I can even boose your ego or something..]

 

So I think my blog name sucks. I didn’t like the first one either.. And for some reason, my creative juices just aren’t flowing on this topic!

So while I realize that only 3 people (that I am consciously aware of) read my blog on a semi regular basis.. I am hoping more people wil lread and help me come up with a new name and phrase!!!

Soooo gimme some good ideas people! Read some of my older posts, get a feel for ME and help me out!

Ketchup!

So I realize I haven’t updated much as far as substance goes… So I’m going to do a recap with pictures! I win.

Zac and I went to Belvedere Plantation awhile ago and picked strawberries. We also petted some adorable baby goats..      

        

and a not so adorable big goat…(their eyes are CREEPY!)

The strawberries were delicious, and I could not help but to eat at least $3 worth whilst we were picking them (thats about a quart btw). I had to make sure they weren’t poisonous!!

        

(and on a side note as I write this post…..uploading pictures to Photobucket takes forever…and right now I have the patience of a fat kid in a candy store.)

June 15th was my parents’ anniversary. Casey and I made them a delicious dinner. We win. The Caprese Salad in my recipes section was the appetizer we made.. mmm.

Zac and I have gone to two weddings in the past 3 months. They were cool. It seems like everyone is getting married and poppin out kids these days…

Yes. You are ABSOLUTELY Correct. We are both wearing the exact same thing in both pictures. Hey! What can I tell ya! I don’t wear many dresses… Plus, I felt like showing off my boobs since they kinda got bigger and this dress was the perfect candidate.

 For the 4th of July, we stayed at Zac’s brother’s house in Centreville.. Mara and Casey came up that Thursday and hung out for the weekend.. We bought some crappy Virginia Fireworks, and I cooked some delicious foods on the grill. Of course, as it does everytime I want to grill, it started raining when I was in the middle of making dinner. So I stood in the rain with an umbrella cooking chicken and steaks on the grill. I love my boyfriend for also standing out there with me and putting up with my attitude because I was so incredibly irritated. Why does it rain EVERY time I want to cook something on the grill?? It’s not fair.

Zac and I have gone shooting a couple of times. I LOVE shooting. It is such a good stress reliever!! Now if only I could hurry up and save my money so I can buy a house or a condo and get my own gun!

We have also gone to Busch Gardens a couple of times. I like going into the bird sanctuary/petting zoo thing and playing with all the birdies. I do NOT like, however, when they are tired of people and bite you every time you try to touch them…

Not much else has been going on.

Work is going good. I should HOPEFULLY be getting promoted by the end of September at the latest. Yay a raise! Hopefully the raise will help with my savings too. I need a new car and a house/condo closer to work. I’m sick of sitting in traffic all the time! Northern Virginia traffic is the worst ever. And again with the patience thing.. or lack thereof.

Zac and I went to visit Paul in Richmond on the 18th to go see The Dark Knight. It was AWESOOOOOMEE! We stayed down there the rest of the weekend and hung out. Went to see Mara in Williamsburg on Saturday.. Ate some yummy chinese food at a buffet there, then went and hung out at her house for a little while.

I was going to add some more pictures to this post.. buuut since it has taken me almost 2 weeks to get around to it and finish.. I’m just going to leave it the way it is now.. and maybe add some later! I win.

 

My job rules

So I never thought that I could actually say that I truly, honestly, LIKE a job that I have… And not like in the sense that I like being around people, or I like being bored and surfing the web while getting paid copious amounts of money…. But like in the sense that, THIS JOB DOESN’T SUCK BALLS!

(may I also mention that I am SUPER glad wordpress automtically saves every  couple of minutes, because for some reason, it won’t let me save on my own when I am on my computer at work!)

Anyways. Back to this job. I like the people I work with.. with exception to the woman I am replacing. Shes a nice person– ok so shes not nice. Shes condescending and judgemental.. But I’m sure she has her nice moments!! All of the big wigs are cool and funny.. with the exception of one or two.. And my boss is great. I like that I can joke around with her and that she actually has a sense of humor! Which, suprisingly enough, is often hard to find these days!! For example, she will tell me to go do something, and I will reply with a simple “No” or “yea I really don’t feel like doing that right now.” She will tell me to “shut up” and then I will go do whatever she told me to do. It’s great.

Another example for why I like this job: I am making cookies..RIGHT NOW. And OMG they smell SOOOOO good. We are having a meeting in here.. well I’m not but other people are.. So I made them a bunch of cookies.. Like hot-from-the-oven, Otis Spunkmeyer cookies.. I have been pretty good about not eating them and being a fatty when we make them.. So today I only had one–  ok 3 but who’s counting?!

Some of the stuff I do right now sucks. But hopefully my promotion will happen soon! And I can make more monies and do pretty much the same stuff I do now.
